Began February 11th, 2014Ended March 11th, 2014Much like Sonic 2 improved on Sonic 1, Sonic 3 & Knuckles improves even more over its predecessors, along with providing one of the first instances of the franchise where the story is integrated into the game. Directly following Sonic 2, a mysterious island crash lands into the ocean (thanks to Robotnik's Death Egg), so Sonic and Tails go off to investigate it. Shortly after landing ashore, a red echidna appears and punches Sonic out of his Super form, taking the Chaos Emeralds with him. Who was he? What is this place? And how will Robotnik worm his way into causing more trouble for our heroes again? Tune in to find out!
