TinyShopkeeper Plays 'Oni' on Hard
GrimithR
BACKGROUND:TinyShopkeeper is personally responsible for over half the games put on the "Rewarding the Rewarders" opportunity list last year, and he also gave me an old laptop of his I've been using since February 2012. Anyway, one of the games he requested was "Oni," one of the many shitty games of his childhood, and I just recently completed my series on it. Well, during our time together, he suggested, "Why don't I play it and you record?" I retorted, "Fine, but you're doing it on hard."TS has no prior experience with doing this hobby; he's only been a spectator up until this point. Because of this and his focus on the game (partly created by fatigue), he's not talkative and not loud. As for me personally, I'm wandering all around the hotel room, but I'm usually sittng next to him, so my voice - while faint at times - is definitely discernible, particularly after I did some volume leveling. Also, really, I just did a series on this. I'm not expecting many people to watch it all over again. What I'm saying is that this was an idea forged between two acquaintances powered by twelve hours of sushi, stories, iHop, and alcohol. With multiple glasses of carbonated soft drinks and multiple bottles of adult beverages, this is perhaps the most loopy I've ever been on my YouTube channel. I don't get drunk - too much of a control person for that - but my tongue was definitely loosened, and stupid things were both done and said. So, have a problem with the technical side of things? Understandable. I, currently laying in my bed with half-lidded eyes less than three-and-a-half hours after ending this impromptu recording session, certainly understand that most of my viewers will simply not want to watch more Oni, particularly when conducted in such a curious manner. There are dumb jokes, banter which isn't entirely audible, and perhaps a few snafus during the recording process itself (because I didn't do much of a damn to test it). But it exists all the same, for your amusment or not. Perhaps you will fantasize about being in a hotel room along with me yourself for an extended period of time. Think of the possibilities that could be achieved! All right, you know what? I'm still fucked up on all the sugar I've had today. Way too old for that kind of consumption. Quite likely the best way to make me gush about social interactivity, other than to see me when I'm with children. Anyway, Grimith out.
Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale (with LethalFeline)
GrimithR
Welcome to LGWI - "Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale," part of the Rewarding the Rewarders 2013-201X opportunity I offered earlier this year. This simulation-slash-RPG was brought to you by BlankDoor, and while I won't be playing it blind, I will be playing it with a guest: LethalFelineFor those of you who don't know, Lethal and I are internet friends. He's a fellow hobbyist, and he has his own YouTube channel. Up until now, everything we've done together has gone up on his channel, but we're changing pace here. This lighthearted playthrough is full of amateur voice acting. Viewer discretion is advised.Lethal's YouTube Channel:http://www.youtube.com/user/thedeathcatThe numerous playlists he and I have done together:- Unreal Tourmanent III / 2004 / '99https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5234D52583CB965A- The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfallhttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLp-wjw6lssYmT2uKKmfX843iZLdBu6LMA- Shadowrun (Sega Genesis)https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLp-wjw6lssYl7x3urwYdYXxY5AA4xJ02j- Papa's Cupcakeriahttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLp-wjw6lssYlxbs_kp20xlPqCwNg9YmZF- Harvesterhttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLp-wjw6lssYmi9S-F6OllaFxAmqd0sPYB- Alone in the Darkhttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLp-wjw6lssYlPUXebCNPo634w13rplojI- Sanitariumhttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLp-wjw6lssYm18m9C53m_CgqeGmbHMUQx- Beneath a Steel Skyhttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLp-wjw6lssYkb6S9SMJ15Oq-bf8BTs-I_- Phantasmagoriahttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLp-wjw6lssYkqWK6PRWAj0H3LMgQKY1A7There's even been some streamed material of us together. Usually, I do a good job of creating playlists outside of my own channel, but I don't encompass everything someone else has uploaded, particularly Lethal:- L4D2 mod stuff:http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLc8_TGjGbIHj3yIr9ZPqnNEwjQ9qyjX5dHe and I have even played Literati together, but I don't think he made a convenient playlist for that, so you'd have to look for yourself. The point here is that he and I have done so many things together that, if you really want to keep track of everything I do, you should subscribe to him and perhaps even follow him on Twitch, since I've appeared there on a few occasions. 'Kay? 'Kay.Also, BlankDoor is a YouTube hobbyist himself with his own YouTube channel:http://www.youtube.com/user/blankdoorFun Fact: While checking his channel, I noticed he uploaded the cutscene for Recettear himself yesterday because he's going to play through this game. Welp. Maybe he forgot he requested it from me or thought I really would take until 201X. Anyway, that means you have options! You can watch his series if you find Lethal and I obnoxious and/or slow. Consider this an opportunity to avoid wasting your time.
