Forest Temple Race (Brynna, Surreal, and Rob)This race beat my best time of 55 minutes at 52:41.55. I came in second after Rob, Surreal was right behind me by probably only about 5 or 10 seconds though. Was a close race at the end.I did okay in this race, from the start I decided to not go for EMS because last time I tried to go for it, it set me way back. I decided to play this safe and just collect the tears and deal with the monkey leading me through the mist. I was gonna try EMS at least once, but I decided to just go my safe route. My first goat herding was rather decent, I was happy with it. Fishing went well on the second day, got my fish rather fast, and I didn't get the new fish size record, which is only a few seconds, but that's what I always like getting right there.I got a good gate clip, better than my last race's clip. Bit of a seizure with the camera, but I managed to clip out on the right side, so I was happy. It wasn't pretty, but it worked.The Bokoblin was not nice with breaking the cage quickly, it was just standing in one spot. Finally got it to break the cage though.Second goat herding I had a chance to go for 22 seconds like I can usually pull off, but once again, there's always that one goat.A very scary moment for me with the wolf just randomly jumping off the end of the circling staircase, which I didn't think was possible--I overshot the rope by accident. But I hadn't tested if the wolf would jump off the end. So much panic, I just knew I was gonna fall, but then Link sorta just latched onto the rope and I managed to climb back up on it. The midna text skip in the village always gives me trouble because of that stupid cat that talks to me. And the Midna jump to the shield failed about two times, very frustrating. At least I didn't talk to a frog or the chicken this time, but I spent just as long trying to dig into the house for the sword.My text skipping has gotten a bit better, by using a method of rolling my thumb between A and B.Tear collecting was okay, could be better, but then again, when are tears ever nice to people?The Forest Temple went okay, but Early Boomerang went poorly for me, having to try it a few times before I was able to get it.I was going to take the long way to the boss key for fear of not getting the railing jump, but the spider knocked me into the water anyway, so I had to get it. Thankfully, I did, so I was able to continue without trouble to the LJA's to the boss room.LJA's went fine, and I was in the boss room with no trouble. Bit of panic on the tree, I always feel as though I'll fall off or hit a void under the lilypad/platforms on the tree. Diababa was nice to me, all the bombs hit it.
