Let's Play Riddle Of The Sphinx (720p HD)
NextGeneration247
Riddle of the Sphinx places you in the role of a close friend of Sir Gil Blythe Geoffreys, an archaeologist who as recently uncovered some remarkable finds about the Great Pyramid and the Sphinx. His discoveries have doomed him with a curse, however, and its your duty to right the wrongs he has uncovered. Taking place in the near future (after the Egpytian Antiquities Organization apparently closed off the sites to the public), you will uncover secrets that have been buried for ten millenia. Rendered in 3-D, the game tries to reasonably copy the sites and monuments surrounding the Sphinx and the Pyramids of the Giza Plateau, allowing you to explore the area without ever leaving your chair, much less sweat out the heat of the desert. Gameplay consists of moving the cursor around, taking note of the highlights that can be selected, which include walking in directions and picking up/using items. Occassionally, you'll be treated a Quicktime VR panoramic scene that will allow you to freely turn and look around, but the majority of the game is static views that allow you to take 'steps' of varying sizes in different directions. Those familiar with games like the original Myst should feel at home. The puzzles are fairly easy to an experienced gamer and the game tends to emphasize exploration of well-rendered ancient Egyptian structures and their passageways, both real and fabricated. This is my Let's Play of the 2000 PC game Riddle Of The Sphinx, my fourth LP. It began airing on May 23, 2012 and finished on October 27, 2012. This is also the first of my LPs to be presented in 720p HD Fullscreen.
Let's Play ♦ STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl - Complete Mod
YourGibs
In S.T.A.L.K.E.R, the player assumes the identity of an amnesiac "Stalker", an illegal explorer/artifact scavenger in "The Zone", named "The Marked One". "The Zone" is the location of an alternate reality version of the Zone of alienation surrounding the Chernobyl Power Plant after a second, fictitious meltdown, which further contaminated the surrounding area with radiation and caused strange otherworldly changes in local fauna, flora and the laws of physics.
The game begins with an unconscious, wounded stalker (the player character) being brought to Sidorovich, a black-market trader operating inside the Zone. Sid is able to save his life, but the wounded stalker is amnesic; the only clues to his identity are a tattoo on his arm of the acronym "S.T.A.L.K.E.R." and his PDA which contains only one entry in the to-do list: "Kill Strelok."
